Albion Contender™ and Shockmaster™ Series Contender™: S310, S410 and S610 Shockmaster™: S300, S400, S600 and S700 Shockmaster and Contender kingpinless, spring loaded casters offer greater capacity and protection from damaging shock or unwanted vibration and movement. Noise levels are reduced through the dampening effect of these casters. • Load Springs: Different load springs for each series permits wide variation in ride “softness.” • Complete Line: Available on all 300 series to 700 series Shockmaster and Contender Kingpinless models. Used with a slotted nut to allow for proper bearing adjustment whenever necessary. Designed to be virtually indestructible! • Hot Forged Steel Construction: Top plate, yoke base and bearing retainer are hot forged using SAE-1050 hardening quality steel. Very popular in automotive tow-line applications, these casters reduce damage to products, rolling equipment, and floors. The nonlinear suspension also makes the work place quieter by cutting vibration generated noise of in-plant trailers by 50% or more. Heavy-duty caster yoke features SAE 1050 forged steel top plate and yoke base with integral king pin and flame hardened raceways. Because the shear disc works within the confines of conventional mounting dimensions, it is much easier to switch over and start saving floors, equipment and hearing. 8D-4100-SA Darnell Series Medium Heavy Duty Shock Absorbing Casters Load Capacity Up to 800 lbs. Designed to reduce noise and isolate medium heavy loads from shock as they are rolled over rough or irregular surfaces. Upper swivel raceway consists of 3/8" hardened steel top plate and base plate that is machined to close tolerances and dimensions. Yoke legs are continuously welded to yoke base for added strength and endurance. Upper raceway is permanently assembled with neoprene grease seal. Bottom raceway is covered with a metal grease seal cap that is press fit then secured with epoxy. Pressure fitting is provided for lubrication using conventional grease guns. 8D-5200 Darnell Series Super Heavy Duty Workstand Casters Load Capacity Up to 20,000 lbs. For aviation and aerospace workstands that require the highest load capacity and receive the most severe handling. A combination of better load distribution and the differential action of the twin wheel offers higher load capacity and requires less effort to change the direction of the swivel. Heavy supporting center leg and side forks are flame cut from thick plate steel and continuously welded on both sides for added strength and durability.
